Finding a Church

As a Christian student coming to university, involvement in CU is greatly encouraged :)
However, this should not replace your attendance and involvement within a local church.
We are blessed to have a great number of churches in Bath and the surrounding area which welcome students into their congregation.
By being part of a church in Bath you will have the opportunity to grow in your faith and walk with Jesus, learn more about Him and His call in your life as well as how to further benefit the mission team on campus - that is the Christian Union.
As a CU we welcome members of all local churches in Bath who hold Jesus up as their Lord and saviour and therefore we are blessed to have numerous students from various local churches who join together in our mission to know Christ and make Him known.

Church Search
On Sunday mornings within the first few weeks of university there will be ‘Church Search’ meetings in the Chaplaincy. Church Search will include some tea/coffee and toast as well as an opportunity for you to chat with each other about the different churches within Bath, allowing you to consider where you may attend. Short introductions will also be given by current students, briefly summarising the church that they attend. Guides to each church's morning service will then be provided for you to develop experience of each church, helping you to settle in early on.
Please see our Church Search guide (below) to get an idea of the variety of churches which congregate in Bath and help you to begin thinking about where you will attend before you arrive
