What We Do
To get weekly email updates on the events happening around the CU, please contact our logistics secretary
Main meeting: Explore/Equip
Every Thursday from 7:30-9:00pm (or 7pm for tea and biscuits) we meet together in 1W 2.101 for either an Explore or an Equip meeting.
If you are curious about Christianity or this guy called Jesus, then Explore is the place for you. Explore aims to answer questions about Christianity and is the ideal place to find out more about the gospel. There is usually some kind of game followed by a talk, and then the opportunity to text in any questions you have for the speaker to answer.
Equip is a chance to meet together and be strengthened and encouraged by praising God and hearing from his word. As with all our events, you don't have to be a Christian to come along.

At Bath University Christian Union we aim to be a community of God's people at work. One way in which we do this is by having lifegroups. A typical evening with your lifegroup would involve eating a meal together at someone's home and then going through a bible study which seeks to equip you to better share the Gospel with your friends. This would be followed up by praying for each other in our various situations.
To sign up please fill in this sign-up form.
"We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us."
1 Thessalonians 2:8
Each week at Globe Café there is a different theme. The theme will either be a certain cuisine from around the world or to celebrate a special occasion! The first Globe is a special Welcome Globe during freshers week and from the following week normal Globe begins.
Globe runs on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:00pm in the Chaplaincy.
If you have any questions then please contact our International secretary.
“Globe is a great place to meet other students and enjoy some lovely food prepared by the Globe team. They are very welcoming and the Café is something to look forward to in the middle of the week!”
Prayer is essential for us as a Christian Union, only with God are we going to achieve anything. Daily prayer meetings are the perfect opportunity to meet together and pray for what's going on in the CU and for what is going on in each other lives and the world around us!
Prayer meetings are on every Monday to Friday at 8:30-9:00am in the Chaplaincy. For more information contact our Prayer Secretary.
“And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”

Christians In Sport
Christians in Sport (CIS) mission is: 'Reaching the world of sport for Christ'. One way CIS does this is through their university 'Pray Play Say' group. These are for anyone who loves Jesus and loves university sports. They meet weekly to look at the Bible, pray for sports mates, and think about how to best represent Christ in their sport.
Many have found CIS a source of great encouragement and/or have come to faith through the work done so i's well worth joining in and praising God through sports. So if you love Jesus and love sport come join us spread the word!
To get in touch go to their Facebook page.
As you might have guessed happens on Fridays... It runs every Friday around 8-9 pm throughout the semester on the AstroTurf in the sports training village (STV) at the University.
This is a great opportunity to meet new people, so whether you are a member of the CU or not, why not come along and have good fun playing a bit of friendly footy, and bring a few mates!
