What's On

Life Groups are made up of 8 - 10 members of the Christian Union and each group has two leaders who help get the discussions flowing.  Groups get together once a week (on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evening) at someone's house or on campus.  We share a meal together and have a Bible discussion where we learn more about our God and how to get Him involved in every part of our livesƒ. Inviting friends along is also a very important part of Life Groups - the environment is really chilled out and people can feel free to  ask whatever questions they want.  Joining a group is a great way to make friends, get to know God's word better and enjoy some good food too!  This year we are excited to begin a Bible overview, exploring the links between the Old and New Testament.

"As a new student last October, I found Life Groups brilliant . I got to know people on all sorts of courses and in lots of different year groups.  This made going to the main CU meetings much less daunting as I already had a few people to sit with!  It was also helpful getting to know the student areas off campus as that's where I'll be living for the rest of my degree!  Staying on campus is a great opportunity to get all your flatmates and friends along, especially when it's your turn to cook, as they can easily pop in (even if it's just for the food!)"

"We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.¨
